The Hornbeam Centre Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, number 2608803. Our registered office is at 458 Hoe St, Walthamstow E17 9AH. We use the trading names Hornbeam Centre, Hornbeam Cafe and Hornbeam Learning Lodge for various aspects of our work.

We collect information about the people who express interest in, support, or take part in the Hornbeam’s work, whether through signing up to an email list, taking part in an event, or hiring space or catering from us. When you register for our enews, we ask for your consent to hold your email address and send you our enews. We will stop sending you emails if you ask us to, and each email we send will have a clear means of unsubscribing.

In other cases, the processing of your personal information may be necessary to carry out the performance of a contract with you, for example, if you arrange a room hire or catering with us, or to carry out our legitimate interests, for example to run our volunteering programme we keep contact records of volunteers who register with us.

Who we share information with

How long we keep data for

We only hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the purposes outlined above. We remove personal data from our systems once it is no longer required. The length of time each category of data will be retained will vary depending on how long we need to process it for, the reason it was collected, and in line with any statutory requirements.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us using the Contact details below. We may make a small charge for this service.
